| Preparations:
It
is recommended that each student wear comfortable clothing
that can get dirty. You may
also want to wear layers for those
chillier hours in the shop. Many students bring
a bag lunch but there are a few restaurants in the neighborhood.
Some suggestions: Pyramid Brewing Company, 8th and Gilman (sandwiches, salads, burgers) Picante, 6th Street at Gilman (Mexican) Jimmy Beans, 6th and Gilman (salads, sandwiches, coffee) |

| Class Payment/Cancellation Policy: Payment in full is required upon registration (check, money order, or credit card). A store credit will be issued for cancellations made with a minimum 48 hours notice. The store credit may be used at any time for a future class, furniture repair or for the purchase of books, tools or supplies. If a class is cancelled, a full refund will be tendered. | ||||
| Directions
to The Caning Shop: From I-800/I-580 in Berkeley, California, you
take the Gilman Street off-ramp. Drive East on Gilman for seven blocks
to 8th Street. Turn right on 8th and you're there. Our address is 926
Gilman Street but our entrance is on 8th Street. There is plenty of
parking right by our door.
